  WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

Although June to December is the official wet season – this doesn’t mean it rains all the time. There are many fine days and rain is normally restricted to a few hours in the afternoon and even then it’s still warm. Our kayaks are designed to carry larger amounts of equipment, however, as you are paddling them, we suggest you use the following as a guideline:

ON TRIPS WE PROVIDE

All meals from lunch day 1 to lunch last day, including snacks and beverages

Tents or Jungle Hammocks

Satellite phone back-up

Dry bags for personal gear protection

Lightweight sleeping bag (can be rented from Jakera) or sleeping sheet

Regular summer clothing

Personal toiletries

Insect repellent

Water bottle

1 or 2 extra changes of clothes (depending on length of tour)

Extra shoes or for the Orinoco Delta lightweight boots for jungle trek
